Four common processing technologies of metal stamping parts

Metal stamping is a kind of processing method with high production efficiency, less material loss and low processing cost. It is more suitable for mass production of parts, easy to realize mechanization and automation, with high precision, and also convenient for post-processing of parts.

General metal stamping parts, in the production process, there are the following four kinds of processing technology:

 

1. Blanking: the stamping process of separating sheet metal (including punching, blanking, trimming, cutting, etc.).

 

2. Bending: the stamping process of bending sheet metal into a certain angle and shape along the bending curve.

 

3. Deep drawing: the stamping process of turning the flat sheet into various open hollow parts or further changing the shape and size of the hollow parts.

 

4. Local forming: the stamping process (including flanging, bulging, leveling and shaping) to change the shape of blank or stamping parts with various local deformations.
